2001-09-23 11:25 p.m.

scenes : exposition, dressing up, crowded street, climax, capitalism at it's peak, happy(?) end

scene #5

still in supermarket. blooded cashier body still half sitting half laying on the chair next to the cash machine. boy still in costume, numerous dark red blood marks, blood smeared all over his beak.

crow-boy leaves body and rolls the door sign to "closed". boy walks around store, picking up thing from the shelves, and throwing them about. crow-boy jumping and waving hands in air from time to time. the store is a mess: bits of apples and spaghetti boxes and cream cheese containers and 3 % skimmed milk and deoderants lying on the floor.

crow-boy finds a peace of paper and a big bright yellow marker. crow-boy writes in capital letters : "ONLY TODAY ALL PRODUCTS IN STORE FOR ONLY 2 ISRAELI SHEKELS".

crow-boy rolls door-sign to "open", and hangs the written paper right besides it. crow-boy sits on dead cashier's lap.

customers immediately flock to the store. movie in fast foward. every second 10 new customers enter the store and mumble (subtitle) "hello". they pick up things from the floor as they please, then go to crow-boy (sitting on dead body's lap) next to cash machine, and take out a few coins and toss them to crow-boy.

normal speed. (end of fast forward)

one customer, aged around 70 tosses a few coins after taking a bottle of coca cola, stops before leaving the store. he stares half amused and half worried at the body underneath the boy in the crow suit, and says (subtitles):

man : "what happened to HER??".

crow boy : "she's got the darndest case of the flew....".

man : "oh that's too bad. yeah it isn't even winter and already people getting the flue. did you know that the flue kills everyday more people than cancer?"

crow boy : "no".

man : "well now you know. you should be in school learning stuff like that instead of working at this old supermarket".

crow boy : "i don't think so".

man : "oh well. good day to you".

crow boy : "GOOD DAY". waves hand with enthusiasm.

man leaves store. scene ends.
